As an Engineering Sciences Major I thought it would be cool to search a Famous engineer that many of you know as the first man to walk on the moon. Neil Armstrong, although many know him to be an astronaut, was an aerospace engineer that graduated with a degree from Perdue School of Engineering. Armstrong is a person that I can very well relate to. “Armstrong's small-town roots and squeaky clean Eagle Scout demeanor contributed to the ‘Only in America’ mythos of Apollo 11's pioneering journey to the moon in 1969.” Like Neil, I am also an Eagle Scout and a hopeful graduate with an engineering degree from NJIT.
